My favorite technology, even if it is of unpopular opinion, is the television, since it allows us to enter multiple worlds, it shows us different areas in which, according to the mood, or simply personal requirement of the moment, to get out a bit of the own personal reality. In quarantine, due to this pandemic, one more company has been made on many occasions and I personally occupy it most of the time, as a method of entertainment, I watch series, reality pay tv shows, Chilean soap operas, crime investigation documentaries, movies of Bad terror, on a Friday or Saturday night, or even sometimes after a tiring day, I turn on the television to distract myself a bit. I recommend it especially if you don't have plans, or want to choose something on netflix or amazon prime video, and you just want to see something by zapping, and you want to relax for a while having something, eating something delicious, and having a date with yourself, in the end it is a good company especially in the current life with a pandemic.

Although it is true that there are many detractors of this technology, and it is considered banal and garbage, apart from the fact that, in open TV programming, the tuning did not accompany either, both in recorded programs and live and direct, it has been seen a significant increase in tuning and a re-charm with this platform, since it allows us to connect, and although some age groups, especially younger ones, are not so close or do not feel so identified with open television programs, it will always be a company for lonely people, and more often for the elderly and the elderly, than with a morning program, and with national communicators, they feel less alone, many times feeling these people as one more friend and creating a closeness with them, and this, as with radio, is ultimately a magic that only occurs with these technologies.

It is also often forgotten that low-income people do not have other possibilities in a way as accessible as television, and by having a television at hand, they can be informed as much as possible, entertain themselves and distract themselves a bit from themselves. reality as I said before.

Life without this technology would be lonelier for many people, more boring for others, and for me it would be less interesting when it comes to choosing a program to watch on pay TV, and my Fridays and nights would be much more depressing and lonely. I am a faithful believer that this platform will not die, and seeing what has happened with this pandemic, the unexpected life, and going back to the origins and lower needs that this pandemic has brought us, one of them will always be television In the end, they are personal tastes, like going to the movies instead of watching them online at home. It is a classic after all.
