ENGLISH 4 , POST 1: A COUNTRY YOU WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

 

Hi teacher:

Well, I would really love to travel to many countries, but I think that if I have to choose one it would be Canada because it is a diverse, tolerant, peaceful and welcoming nation, it is well known for its nature and its impressive natural beauty. Located in the upper part of North America, above the United States. To the west it borders the Pacific Ocean and to the east the Atlantic Ocean. The United States borders to the south and the Arctic Ocean to the north. Canada occupies almost half of North America and for me what makes it special is that it is a diverse country in many ways, and one that is worth knowing for its adventures and sophisticated culture. Canada's vibrant, multicultural cities contrast with the unspoiled nature that surrounds them.

If I traveled to this beautiful country, I would not miss seeing Niagara Falls, its Bannf National Park, and obviously I would try its exquisite Donuts, which makes it the country with the most donut shops in the world.

In short, I would love to go to this wonderful country either on vacation or even to work there for a while, maybe years and be able to enjoy its culture, and its people, it is also recognized for being a diverse country that receives immigrants. In 2016, more than 250 ethnicities were registered by the Canadian population, contributing to a rich and vibrant culture. This is why I feel that I would be happy even working as a waitress in a cafe there. Only time will tell.

Hi teacher: The truth is that I like different musical styles, and different musicians and singers, but if I had to choose someone over this, I would say that it would clearly be Elizabeth Woolridge Grant better known by her stage name, Lana del Rey.
