ENGLISH 4, POST 7: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME
Hi teacher, I study public administration, and I am studying the fourth year of this, this career has 10 semesters which are equivalent to 5 years of formal career. As for your study plan, I feel it is very complete, only that I would make changes in the practical aspect of the bouquets, since they are mostly very theoretical, but not practical. The degree itself contemplates practical branches only in its fourth year, but in previous years unfortunately we only passed theory, and I feel that it would be very useful to be able to see the contents in a more practical way to be able to apply them as we go through the matter, to take it to a more concrete field than just leaving it in the abstract, for example, the people management branch and the public policy formulation branch, I feel that they could be much more practical.
On the other hand, I feel that the academic load is very strong in the fourth year, the research seminar and the practical work with the designated municipality, which I think is also related to the above, if the practical branches were well defined With the theorists, and when they should be taken, we would not have as much burden the second semester of the fourth year, since they are very demanding branches in conjunction with the others also arranged in this semester. The duration of studies I feel is good since the degree is so diverse in required knowledge, this stipulated time of 5 years is needed, to be able to study it.
Likewise, the use of technologies such as Excel is defined for the first semester of the degree, which seems good to me, but I feel that this use of technologies and others, requires revision and perseverance also throughout the career. The teaching methods in these and in the other fields, I feel that they vary a lot according to the professor who teaches the chair, and that also affects the level of knowledge of the area of the field in question. In any case, one also knows with which teacher to take each branch, depending on the interest and affinity with the subject to learn.
Finally, the facilities are better not to mention, the place of study is very small for the number of students, we do not have recreational spaces, nor a food court suitable for the number of people who study in the race, not to mention that Not only is public administration taught in it, but political science was also added to this headquarters, which does not provide enough for all people, I feel that this has also greatly affected the possibility of returning to the presence of classes.
Well, I think I can only comment on this in the rest of the areas if I agree.
Regards!
